Upgrade from J to F Sin-LHR worth it?

Just checked my booking via the QF website and I got my F upgrade for my flight SIN to LHR so I will finally find out what F is like.

Could have caught up; well too late now :?

Perhaps an AFF Meetings thread or similar would be an idea. ...

Hi all,

Just checked my booking via the QF website and I got my F upgrade for my flight SIN to LHR so I will finally find out what F is like.

This may be a bad thing as I may never want to fly any other way again, and unfortunately my budget doesn't allow for F travel. :cry:

Have fun, Reggie! I took my first F flights in January this year and enjoyed them. One other benefit is that the toilet cubicle is slightly larger - not so squishy! It makes changing into your PJ's a little easier!

I wondered how I could go back to J after flying F, but soon found a way. Take a few flights in WHY (e.g. SYD-PER) and you'll be cured! And for those wondering if airline louge access is really worth it, I've just experienced another few hours KUL without it and it sucks. I still have those stinking chimes (that herald another announcement) in my head! :x

I am pretty sure that Reggie was traveling PER-SIN (QF71) then SIN-LHR (QF31)

So a meet in the F lounge SYD T1 might have been difficult!

Where were you off to Serfty?

As long as it is not QF31 going through, as I recently found that the F Lounge doesn't open until an hour after this flight departs SIN...

QF31 has apparently changed its flight times and now leaves SIN at 11.59pm and thus the F lounge in SIN is open for its arrival from SYD and for its depature to LHR

DPG is correct I actually flew QF71 from PER to meet QF31 onto LHR, maybe next time.

Yup, you are correct, can't blkame the HPs' as there aren't any in the F lounge...
