Apologies if this has already been answered, search was not helpful.

My son is doing his first work trip (PER - SIN in Y) in a few days; as he is only NB (for now!) I have transferred a lounge pass to him which he has linked to the booking. He has also put in for an upgrade - while of course the odds are not in his favor being NB, if by some chance it does come through, does the lounge pass get unlinked from the booking as it is no longer required, or is it simply forfeited?

On the three occasions this has happened to me, I contacted QFF service centre (phone and webform) and had the passes reinstated pretty promptly. Would be better experience though if this was proactively done.
