When combined with the current special, prices come out pretty low, eg. $167 MEL-PER saver lite, $176 for saver, $359 flexi, $699 business.

Of course this makes my booking a whole heap of flights a month or two back on an earlier special look rather expensive. I presume this is all indicative of weakness in forward bookings.

Code seems to be only saving about 10% ex OOL for east coast hops (i.e. similar to markis10's TRA01 code). Has anyone found any examples of 30% saving (searching the same dates with/without DGL57)?

I am getting Business Class to/from PER coming in at (comparatively) very good pricing.

$4 discount on MEL-CNS saver lite and $41 discount on flexi.

You're right, BNE --> PER is $1199 business saver without the code, $839 with the code, so almost exactly 30% off.

No 30% in my hunting - about $20 on a $500 fare for the east coast. Maybe it's 30% to places no one wants to go and at ridiculous hours. But I cannot find it.
A bit of a con IMO.

But it looks like the BNE - PER is a pretty good buy.

If you look at a J Saver it is. Takes the $849 to SYD down to $594.

Perhaps they should rename it "30% off J and about 10% off everything else".
