Hi guys,

Can anyone help with this one.

I'me flying London - Dubai - Melbourne with a 50kg baggage allowance.

I have a 7 hour stop in Dubai. I have left a suitcase in Dubai from my stopover on my outbound journey.
My question is: Can I book in my luggage in London all the way through to Melbourne.......and then get off in Dubai, go collect my extra suitcase, and check-in that suitcase to Melbourne.

Or, must I just check my bags through to DXB and then collect them all and then go collect my additional suitcase (and then check them all in again.

Any thoughts?

Which airline? Assuming it is full service carrier

I do not see any reason why you could not check-in more baggage in DXB as long as you did not go over your total baggage allowance.
