Unused Points Club vouchers disappear upon requalification?

I received the PC requalification email from Qantas earlier this month, and the notification that my wine and hotel vouchers had been issued shortly after. I'd been planning on using the vouchers from last year so imagine my surprise when upon checking my account they were no longer there. Instead of seeing 4 vouchers (2 from last year + 2 from this year), I'm only seeing 2. It almost looks as if they'd just updated the expiration of last year's vouchers instead of issuing new vouchers. Last year's vouchers were marked to expire in a month, so it's not as if they were removed because they're no longer valid. It's entirely possible I've simply forgotten about using the vouchers, I did place a few wine orders last year after all, but I'm 100% certain I didn't use the hotel voucher and that one's gone too.

Is this expected, has this happened to anyone else? Maybe there's something in the Ts and Cs about forfeiting unused vouchers upon retaining PC even if it's not expired, but it doesn't seem right to me that they can just tack an extra year to an existing vouchers' expiry and say that's equvalent to receiving a voucher as described in their marketing.

If the expiry of your vouchers from last year is February 2026, why don't you just search for the original email with the voucher codes? They should still be valid.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months.

I reported some similar experience around August - the unexpired vouchers are still there somewhere - I suggest searching for the email last year that has the codes. Basically, I used the more recent vouchers then the older ones reappeared in the app

Edit:

There was an expiry email to remind me the old one was there still

Sorry to hijack! If you were PCP last year and qualified for PC this year, do you get new PC vouchers? Or do you only get them upon re-qualifying for PCP?

If you achieve the required PC points in your current membership year you can expect to receive PC vouchers.

Thanks Syd. Not yet, but I read the PC/PCP fine print and that's exactly what it says will happen - re-qualifications aren't awarded until your next year.

I think I was confused because when you first qualify you get an email and the vouchers straight away, but re-qualification has no fanfare at all. I thought something had gone wrong. All good!

Sorry to hear about the disappearing act, @muj.

Technically, Qantas PC vouchers are issued for a 12-month validity period from the date of your Membership Year renewal, not your requalification date. They shouldn't forfeit just because you requalified, but the QF app is notorious for only displaying the most recent vouchers in the Invitations portal.

Try searching your email for the original voucher codes from last year. They are often still active in the backend even if the app UI hides them. If you haven't used that hotel voucher, it's worth a call to the PC dedicated line, sometimes they refresh the account, and the old ones reappear.

Strangely enough, upon checking my inbox I couldn't find an email. Quite odd because a friend who also requalified for PC around the same time period did get the email.

As an update, I did contact support and they did find my old coupon and provided it via email. This kind of frontend behaviour is disappointing, I can easily see someone who's got lots of stuff on their plate losing track of their entitlements and not following up. I hope this isn't an intentional strategy to increase coupon churn.
