UA 61 MEL SFO (N29975) B789 on 03/01 took off at 1621 instead of 1300, now having a 3 hr delay- that was despite only 40 min late arriving into Melbourne at 1040 and have more than 2 hr cleaning time with the scheduled departure at 1300 as said before

On Sunday 4 January 2026, UA842, the 1120 hours late morning SYD to LAX was in the sky at 1351. Arrival at gate (same day) for B789 N17963 should be approximately 1950 hours, 110 minutes late.

The SYD-IAH UA100 is late but better than 'the 842', having taken off from SYD at 1259 hours. Arrival should be 1102, 37 late.

Monday 5 January sees UA98 from LAX down to MEL having an estimated gate arrival at 1015 hours, 45 late for B789 N29977.

Meanwhile the SFO to SYD UA863 with B772ER N786UA should pull in to its allocated gate at 1003 hours, 48 late.

The SFo to MEL UA60 is also running behind time, with B789 N38950 likely to arrive at 1052 hours, 52 late.
