It's less than 24 hours before my flight. I am unable to online check in, it tells me to check in at the airport instead. Does this mean I have been downgraded or turfed out? The ticket class is U (award business).

Whilst I can understand the paranoia, there are a number of threads that have been highlighting issues with OLCI since the end of July.

Do you by any chance have more than 1 flight tomorrow on the same booking?

I had a paid j flight on QF5 on Friday which I tried to OLCI for at t-7 which brought up a similar error. I wouldn't worry just gremlins on the system

I am on QF9 tomorrow, with a connection from BNE. Even though we're now at T-24 for the domestic connection, I cannot check in. I had the same in Oct when I had a domestic connection to QF11. I could only OLCI at T-24 for the international departure.

This may or may not be your issue (dom connection to intl), but there are definitely germlins, and it shouldn't be cause for alarm.

Absolutely Katie, I've been unable to check-in online with a domestic connection for a significant period of time now and it hasn't been an indicator of anything suspicious.

Try again in an hour or two. I have had this same thing at T-24 on both international and domestic flights in the last month or so and when checking again an hour or two later it has been available (online check in).

Pretty sure that check in is only possible 24 hours before the final flight of the "day" now. so 24 hours before QF9 not the domestic connection.

Thanks for the help guys. I've flown with Qantas only once before this year, and that instance I could no OLCI and was told to go to the airport. Once there, I was told the flight was overbooked and I may need to turn around and go home. Naturally, I am a bit cautious when the same situation arises.
