Hi,

Is it allowed to ask someone what is the best available fare, routing from Per to Ukraine leaving June returning August, economy class?
Any members in the trade feel free to contact by email if it's against the rules to post here.

thanks,

You didn’t specify which airport or city you’d like to fly into, but Wikipedia tells me the main airport is Boryspil International Airport, and looking at your profile, seeing you are a member of S7 and QFF/QP I’d guess you’d like to use a OW carrier to get there.

BA flies via London-Heathrow.
AY flies via Helsinki.
MA flies via Budapest.
RJ flies via Amman.
S7 flies via Moscow-Domodedovo (though they’re not officially part of OW yet).

So there are 5 OW airlines that you could connect with to get there, however if you don’t have to fly OW, there’s many airlines you could fly. There don’t appear to be any direct services with Australia, but a few from Asia.

Thanks, but OW tickets at this time are ridiculous(sic)
I see KLM out of KUL have a price that equates to about AU$1350 and I can get up there cheaply with AirAsiaX.
I see Aerosvit fly Abu Dhabi-Kiev but can't seem to get a price combining with Emirates out of PER.
Just canvassing all options from anyone with experience to this destination?

cheers

There are limited options to KBP without back-tracking from other places in Europe. I am not aware of many options direct from Asia to KBP. I have always used BA from London (LGW initially, and now the depart from LHR).

Finnair may be an option via HEL. They have some good fares with QF codeshares out of Australia and then their own metal to HEL.

Have no idea about pricing, but Turkish Airlines tend to serve Ukraine rather well, so getting to somewhere in Asia (eg Singapore) and purchasing a TK fare from there may work. And I'm not sure if they still do it, but Aereosvit used to fly BKK-KBP, and IIRC you could buy through fares using TG & Aerosvit. If this worth considering (as probably the only single stop option, other than a fare to DXB with EK then Ukraine International to Kiev), there's a guy in Sydney we dealt with in issuing some domestic tickets (could book but not issue online), may be able to help on this. Contact details from the Aerosvit website - city obviously being Sydney.

EF is showing AY and LH as cheaper options sans taxes, but who knows what happens after the taxes are applied.
