I should stress, firstly, that I'm using the term UFO to mean "an unidentified flying object" and not "an alien space ship". :)

Essentially, someone was recording footage from a Ryan Air 737 takeoff and has caught something which the aircraft seems to move to avoid. If it wasn't for the engines gunning and the movement of the aircraft I'd have suspected that it was inserted by a computer but it seems to be more than that.

Here's a video of the footage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KU4upjaQ8DY

What do people think that it is?

I'm quite intrigued to see someone else's thoughts on this one. My first thoughts were bird or possibly some kind of drone, but it could quite easily be a 'UFO' :p

I think what is captured in the video is the shadow of the object not the object itself.
The Ryanair aircraft seems to bank and turn towards the object, which puzzled me at first, but the sun could be casting the shadow across the aircraft and onto the ground on the side opposite to the object itself.
This could also help explain the high apparent velocity as the both the forward and the angular velocity of the aircraft could be increasing the apparent velocity of the shadow across the ground.
The shape of it looks like a helicopter to me, though its apparent velocity is too great.
Of course this is unashamedly uninformed speculation based on my first impression.

If it is a UFO it's probably good news! At that size the aliens must be about 3 inches tall. Probably not too much for us to worry about :)

Given the request to comment on the video and to subscribe - I say click bait. In terms of the "object" the movement is odd. It travels roughly parallel to the wing, remember the aircraft is moving way from this parallel motion but the object stays in frame. Then it travels forward, much faster than the aircraft. Then back towards the aircraft, and the pilot turns toward the apparent threat. Shadow would seem more plausible.
