Good promotion, the only catch is you need an SPG stay during the calendar year before you start earning.

Noticed my UberX and UberTAXI (Singapore) rides last week came through to my spg account already. Small amounts, but they all add up I guess. Also I have read UberTAXI is not eligible as it is not billed by Uber, but it may depend on country. Certainly in SG it is billed via Uber, and points came through.
