This would suck & it still has't landed back at EWR (my screenshot below)!!!

Passengers on a United Airlines flight have had the flight from hell, being stranded on a runway in Canada for over 16 hours overnight.

Temperatures outside dropped close to -30C, as the wait went on.

United Flight 179 had been heading from New York to Hong Kong when it had to divert to Goose Bay in Canada for a medical emergency three-and-a-half hours into the flight, it then went mechanical while on the ground.

Ouch. I bet after around the 10th hour on the ground in Goose Bay, some of the passengers might have wished United would drag them off the plane!
