UA seat selection with Velocity award

Is it possible to select a seat on UA flights when using Velocity points? VA site says seat map not available. Booking ABQ - DEN - SFO - MEL return in Economy

Did you try to select seats on United under 'manage my booking'?

I certainly managed to on a UA SYD-SFO award booking through VA - it was just standard economy, but it was available through MMB using the UA (not VA) PNR on the UA site.

If you have status on UA, it's worth changing your FF number to UA so you can select economy plus seats.
