UA or NZ redemption

Question.

We have between the 'family' 320k and 360k points on UA. Would like to book two business class tickets LAX - AKL or LAX - SYD tickets in Nov 2010.

Seeing how UA does not fly LAX - AKL, what points are required to fly that sector on NZ?

I know we are outside the booking timeframe, but trying to ascertain options before timeframe is valid. Key is visiting NZ for holiday and AU for graduation ceremonies. So either SYD or AKL as in bound options are fine.

A business class saver award requires 135,000 miles per person according to UA Mileage Plus Saver award chart or a business class standard award requires 270,000 miles per person according to UA Mileage Plus Standard award chart.
