Yes, that is often a problem. I haven’t read. The books so don’t have that issue.

Finished the final season of The Boys on Prime. Really sad this show - and its spinoff, Gen V - has ended. As much as I enjoyed the unbridled spoofing of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (in its own rude, crude, twisted and often comically funny "splatter horror" way), the way in which they've managed to weave so many of today's political, societal and behavioural themes into the narrative is to be applauded. In many respects, this show is able to hold up a mirror to society in much the same way as shows like The Simpsons. Without a doubt, this series is not for everyone. But for the rest of us, it was a whole lot of fun while it lasted.

Enjoyed S2 of Criminal Record on Apple TV+. Plenty of twists and turns.

Very disappointed in The Librarians The Next Chapter . Binge had a deal $5 for a month. Saw they had this season and was quite pleased

However the show is a poor copy of the original . Some good moments (moments only ) but just not much chop.

Buuuuut I may be considering adding a small side trip to Belgrade (the series was shot there ) cause it looks stunning

Finished watching The Chestnut Man: Season 2 "Hide & Seek" on Netflix last night. Solid Nordic Noir with some good twists and turns. I did guess the killer before the big reveal, but it was more on a hunch than any solid evidence/clues presented in the preceding episodes.

Just finished watching Big Mistakes on Netflix. Took the first episode or so to hit its stride, but overall I enjoyed it. Looks like it’s getting renewed for a second season and I’ll be interested to watch that when it eventually drops.

Anyone else watched Netflix's reboot of Little House on the Prairie? I grew up with the og 1974 series. I loved this new version, it's more like a prequel to the 1974 one and has the Ingallls family interacting with an Osage family and shows different perspectives of what was happening at that point in history (trying not to spoil it). Easily bingeable in a weekend.

Watching Brokenwood Mysteries on German TV. Dubbed into German with no subtitles, but we have seen them all anyway, so knew what was happening....

Then today to fill in some time, we watched a couple of episodes of Death in Paradise, again in German.

He was a great subject b/c as far as possible he did not make the interview all about himself. I never imagined that 24hrs later (after I watched this) I would be listening to news of his passing.
