New series Two of Capture is now screening. Good.
A friend has been telling me her daughter has made the effort to visit from her attached flat and watch MAFS with her parents. She is not amused but is going along with it b/c of the family bonding. lolIm babysitting a 10 year old tonight and so had to relinquish the remote control and am being forced to watch Australian Idol.
Supposedly the theme is movie night but some of these songs are a stretch, surely supposed to pick a song that was made famous by a movie i.e not really known if not for the movie.
One contestant did Like A Prayer, now that song was seriously well known decades before it featured in Deadpool. And another just did Holding Out For. Hero and cited Shrek yet that song was made famous by Footloose. These young ones need some schoolin'.
Sorry just had to get that off my chest.
My charge wilp be going home soon, then i. An find something good to watcg.
Boo! You go me all excited that it had been released early
Now I’ve watched and thoroughly enjoyed itThere’s also a 6 episode podcast detailing making on the movie and series. Netflix.
Is that also SBSFor anyone watching A Spy Among Friends (SBS) there is also a one off doco The Real Spies Among Friends which is very interesting - some good original footage,
Yes - it was live late this afternoon and is now available on SBS on Demand. Is that also SBS
I missed this during its cinema run, so am glad to hear that it is available now on streaming.I know it’s not a TV series, but I wanted to highly recommend Rental Family now screening on Disney+.
This has got to be one of the most beautifully heartwarming films I’ve watched in a long time and I’m not going to lie, it made me tear up on more than one occasion. It’s been a long time since I’ve emotionally connected with a film like this. I mean geez… even watching the trailer again got me a tad misty-eyed (knowing the story).
Do yourself a favour and check it out (and be sure to have the odd tissue within reach).
