Came to say that we just binged watched Dept Q. A "tartan noir", based on a cold case police drama. Give the first episode some time but I wasn't was hooked by the end of it.

Edit. I WAS hooked
Same here. Started watching it travelling last week and binged the finish on the weekend. Thought the first 2 episodes were slow and then it was great.
Thanks for whoever made the first recommendation for it here

I am bingeing it now
I anticipate a twister in the final episode

I needed a bit of this last night but we got there 🤣

I can’t bring myself to watch Squid Games. Am I missing something?
The first season was fun. I started to watch season 2 on a flight and never got back to it as Id forgotten who some of the people were due to the 3 year wait between season 1 and 2. I will get back to it at some stage, probably need to rewatch season 1 first.

Personally, I am looking forward to Dexter Resurrection (Paramount +) next week and season 2 of Wednesday (Netflix). My guilty pleasure recently was season 3 of Ginny & Georgia (Netflix).

For some light comic relief I also enjoyed season 2 of Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont Spelling Bee.

I can’t bring myself to watch Squid Games. Am I missing something?
I enjoyed S1, but have held off watching S2 as - per my understanding - there wasn't a conclusion as such, and it will instead be concluded in the 3rd and final season. S1 did reach a conclusion, so you can watch that one in isolation for now to see if you enjoy it.

If you enjoy dystopian thrillers/dramas, you'll likely enjoy Squid Game.

I binged it a few days ago whilst the east coast low was raging outside. It pleasantly filled a few hours.
I also rewatched Douglas is Cancelled and enjoyed it the second time around.

I passed this recommendation on to my daughter, as she has to deal with AI at NTL Uni.
