UPDATE 1-Turkish Air to buy 7 Boeing, 10 Airbus planes | Markets | Markets News | Reuters

Turkish Airlines (THYAO.IS), Turkey's flag carrier, said on Friday it will buy 10 airplanes from Airbus (EAD.PA) and seven from Boeing (B.N) as part of its fleet-expansion plan, aimed at making it a global airline.

Good to see an airline planning to expand during tough times.
