Disagree with the 'don't ask to change gloves'. While not TSA, the security checkers at the gate in HKG recently had gloves that were black... and they were going through stuff and opening toiletry bags etc. I asked them to change before proceeding.
 
Or if it is the gloves of the people doing secondary explosive checks in NRT.
