Trip to Orange - any recommendations?

Hi team.

Any wineries to visit recommendations for Orange please?

I saw an old thread but thought would ask for more recent updates/info.

Just went a fortnight ago, hard to go wrong but depends what you are after. Word of warning, wines there aren’t cheap.

My recommendations
- Bloodwood, you definitely need to book. One of the oldest but still one of the best and you won’t forget it.
- Cha Lou, the new breed
- Swinging Bridge
- Strawhouse, we actually stayed here, lovely owners and great and (for Orange) well priced

We didn’t go but Byrne Farm comes well recommended as does Rowlee, Printhie, Heifer Station.

In town Ferment and Hey Rosey are good to sample wine across a variety of makers without having to trot around a slew of wineries (and saves the issue of a sober driver).
