Travolta's 707 is retiring to HARS in Wollongong!

John Travolta and HARS have just announced that his 707 is being donated to HARS (Historical Aircraft Restoration Society) at Albion Park airport just south of Wollongong. This is the same aircraft museum where VH-OJA now rests.

As a Wollongong local, I'm incredibly excited by this news and can't wait to watch it land!

A good coup for HARS. I can't imagine the Founders Museum would have had any space had they been offered it.

Not really a coup. QF and JT is just trying to get someone else to spend the millions to get the aircraft up to flying condition. It can't fly from the US to HARS unless it's refurbished with HARS finding the money. Effectively they are buying the aircraft.
