Hi all.

In 2011, I'll be travelling to Europe around Easter and will want to redeem points to obtain a flight. And yes, I understand that availability is different amongst airlines. Given award flights can be hard to come by, I want to be smart about the dates I choose to fly out.

Is anyone aware of travel trends around Easter time in terms of when is a 'good' time to fly out? I am thinking of flying out on Good Friday. Is that typically a popular date to fly? Should I am at the start of that week instead? Or other?

According to the NSW Dept of Education website, Easter falls in the final days of school holidays, so I don't expect that time to be popular with families travelling.

Any insight is appreciated.

Thanks, PW
