Travelling on AA domestic flight with a QF flight number- meal included?

Interesting I am flying MEL- LAX in PE then LAX -MIA QF Number AA metal economy on Moday and it says "MEAL " on my paperwork!!

well - to be more convincing - buy something on board and keep the paper work. If you buy before you fly its a bit hard to show you were expecting a meal on board which didn't eventuate

If you look up the corresponding AA flight number on E/F and other sites the code will be "F" as in "For Purchase".

In Y on AA meals are available to purchase, Credit Card Only no Cash.

For the less frequent traveller like myself, it needs to be clearer. I've flown AA once, thought I was getting a feed due to the above mentioned "meal", but survived a 6 hour flight on two free cans of coke. (I know I could have used my CC to purchase a meal but I was being cheap...)
