I need to get a quick antigen test prior to flying to the USA. Government drive thru testing sites are not really designed with travellers in mind. Has anyone found a good way to get tested with results back quickly in documented form that is suitable for travel?

There is a new trip report of one of AFF’s members who is doing exactly the same thing as you - maybe ask them?

Antigen tests are terrible, and I don't know of any public or reputable laboratory which uses them. So you will struggle!

Outside of surge periods the PCR test turnaround time is generally less than 24 hours. Which state / city are you in?

Anyone know how long airlines like Qantas just announced will be requiring a negative test before boarding? I was thinking of Europe but the risk of testing positive on the way back is extremely high even if your vaccinated & have no symptoms there is still nothing stopping a positive result.

Just adding another place to get travel testing before departure in Australia. Medlab will do it for $100, which is tied for cheapest with Histopath. Only a handful of locations though and they only say it'll be back within 48 hours.

I'm hoping masks will go first.

There's talk of them ending in the US early next year.
