travelling east CDG-YVR - strategy to minimise jetlag

Will be travelling east

CDG-SIN-SYD on SQ in Y (transit in SIN)
Depart CDG 1200hrs
Arrive SYD 1855hrs+1
Overnight in SYD for 2 nights (essentially one day)

Then SYD-MEL-LAX on VA in J and then LAX-YVR on AC in Y (transit in MEL and LAX)
Depart SYD 0830
Arrive YVR 1430

What would be your strategy to minimise jetlag. Unable to fly west CDG-YVR as I need to be back in SYD first before heading to YVR

Wow that's a lot of flying in a short space of time. I'd be trying to acclimatise to SYD time asap so 1200 CDG time would be approx. 2100 in SYD so if a meal is served straight after take-off I'd be trying to go to sleep immediately after that. An arrival time in SYD in the evening is helpful so you can hit the hay when you get home even though you may not be tired.

On arrival in YVR if you're really tired on arrival, have a short sleep then get up and lunchtime but make sure you try to get to sleep 2200 ish local time which would be 1600 in SYD otherwise you'll end up going to bed at 0400 & sleeping through to midday so easier to get in the swing of things early in the peace.
