Travel Pass Password Changes

Hi All,

I'm trying to access a Travel Pass my MMB tells me exists. I've forgotten the password for the portal, have clicked on the link to reset the password, received the email but the application is not allowing my new Password value (6-10 characters, must contain: 1 Upper, 1 Lower, 1 numeric, 1 special ... all met).

Anyone else had similar issues?

There should have been a password provided in an email when you first got the Travel Pass.

There was - a temporary one - then prompted to change which is where I started running into these problems ...

That's odd. I don't recall every being prompted to change the password, though I think I have read of others being prompted to on here.
 
QF sent me an email on 22 August to advise:
Your Qantas TravelPass expiry date has been updated to 31 December 2023, and is ready to be used for your next Qantas flight. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

It also stated:
For first time use, simply create your password by entering your Qantas TravelPass number issued with your Qantas TravelPass in the customer portal and the password will be emailed to you.

I tried my original password but it didn't work. But I remember I managed to change it somehow...
 
Sometimes password rules restrict the types of special characters, especially . (period). Check that your special character is one of their allowable ones
 
I've just gone through the process again - applied for and received the temporary password, applied the same permanent one as previous and everything has worked ... go figure!
