best travel insurance for two weeks in Dallas in May for a 26 yr old and 6 month old baby
flying on Qantas points redemption over and aa points redemption back (aa Dallas - San Francisco and Qantas from there)

For my most recent personal trip to the USA (me, Mrs NM and mini-NM) I used Columbus Direct. I found them to have the best value product for our needs. Our flights were all booked using AA miles. I paid $148 for "Worldwide" cover for 12 days. Travel was to USA (Orlando, FL). Note that AFF Gold Members receive a 20% discount off Columbus Direct travel insurance. For me, that represented the best value for my trip and circumstances.

How does the discount work? Can I buy it for an adult child on their own trip? I searched in the forum but couldnt find this offer. Tx.

Edit - found it under Gold privileges.
