G'day all

I have always bought my travel insurance from DEFENCE HEALTH

DEFENCEHEALTH.COM.AU
They are normally pretty good deal compare with the travel agent rip-off!

Enjoy

Big Kev,

If I did not use the Amex Plat Charge Card for TI I would certainly look at them again for this. I use them for Health Insurance and find them excellent.

I did a Google for discount Travel Insurance and all I got was 'Aussie' companies.

Who is a good 'international' provider, or where can I buy a policy in BKK from a Thai co? I am aware of the UK one that does yearly car hire insurance.

Background: I made the mistake of not buying my airfare on CC as I wanted to teach a budget airline a lesson in CC fee gouging. Reading more, Goldcard CC insurance seems 'depending' . Also if I buy a policy over there, I might actually get car hire excess for driving aiport to home. (I have decided it is cheaper to hire a car at airport than 7 days of LT parking).

I also heard of some very favorable reports from Thai Insurance companies.
