Further the OP's RTW may be all personal, so no tax deductibility there.

Ah...but that is the beauty of the annual policy...as it goes for 12 months...so it covers BOTH your business and private travel.

I used to have this..and just renewed it annually....

I just timed my first purchase prior to a business trip...and just kept it going.

It would still not be deuctible if the OP either did not do business travel or was covered for business travel by their company though

kemi,

Welcome to AFF.

The 20% discount is available to 'Gold' members of AFF and this membership costs $50 pa which more than pays for itself if you use any real amount of travel insurance.
There is a lot of information here about travel insurance and I recommend that you read it as whilst some people find the Columbus Insurance adequate there are others, with different requirements who prefer other companies.

Look here for info on the membership levels: Australian Frequentflyer membership information.

Have a look at:

Artog - Compare Travel Insurance

I plugged in some info and AIG Australia was 55% off one of my quotes for a trip. Does anyone know if AIG is any good or what about the others that come up? Any that one should avoid?

R.
