I have an annual travel insurance policy with Colombus Direct, and paid my flights on the AMEX Platinum C/C (which has domestic travel insurance coverage).
Here's my dilemma; I'm flying up to Broome tomorrow morning to get some urgent work done, on that trip I also need to get up to Derby.
Cyclone Laurence has just been through and while downgraded, is dropping a reasonable amount of rain on the area. I've just rung Main Roads and the Great Northern Hwy is open, so I could be OK to get there and back. There is word the rain may worsen on the weekend though. If it does, and I get stuck in Derby is my insurance likely to cover me?
Not too sure what clause it may fall under in the policy.
