Transnusa adds Melbourne-Bali

TransNusa have been operating for a couple of years now and haven’t managed to crash yet so they’re clearly doing something right. They’re also expanding to more international markets after mostly domestic early on.

However, they’re going to pull this route very quickly with those times. The number of Indonesians who use them because of price won’t be able to sustain it alone. Plus, if you’re an Indonesian expat who can afford to live in Melbourne, or a tourist who can afford to travel there, you can afford Garuda.
The vast majority of passengers are on JQ who fly 700 seats a day on the route quite successfully with a nice choice of schedule (3x daily), an Australian based airline with Australian based pilots (yes they are foreign cabin crew) and a fairly new A321neo (albeit not exactly comfortable).

I don't know why they're even bothering with it.
