In May we will be arriving at Heathrow at 5:25am and transiting through to Nice leaving at 7:50am.

Arriving on Qantas from Singapore on British to Nice.

Given the heightened security at the moment will this be enough time.

Only our second o/seas trip so uncertain as to arrangements - tickets all booked through so i assume we are taken to the terminal for the connecting British flight as transit passengers??

Any thoughts appreciated.

(as a newbie i'm not up with the abbreviations yet)

Your luggage will be checked all the way to Nice.

On arrival, all you have to do is follow the signs to "Flight Connections" and then take the bus to Terminal 5. 2 and a half hours should be ample time

We flew into Heathrow arr. 5.10am transitting on to Paris with 2 hours transit time, our bags were checked through. We caught a transitting bus to terminal 5 which took us 18 mins, at that time in the morning it was very quiet.
We arrived at the next terminal with plenty of time to have a coffee, do some duty free shopping and ring my sister-in-law in London.
So I think yes you will have no trouble catching your flight to Nice.
Happy travels
