You must have been unlucky the day you transitted through Perth.

Story of my life.

It was a Wednesday that I transitted through Perth. Do not remember any Cathay flights around the time that I was there.

All I can say is just as well there was a cafe open and I was able to purchase 2 beers to kill the 1.5 hours waiting for immigration to open.

All I can say is just as well there was a cafe open and I was able to purchase 2 beers to kill the 1.5 hours waiting for immigration to open.

The HKG services are early in the morning. CX departs at 7:40 am on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat, while QF departs at 7:20 on Tue, Thu and Sun. (and they both use such a pleasant overnight flight HKG-PER to get their respective planes to PER for that service)
