Hi
Does anybody know if I can transit in Changi and get my luggage ticketed to final destination, when flying from Europe to Australia on 2 separate SQ redemption bookings.
Would it also work if the Australia leg was on a paid Scoot ticket?

Yes won‘t be a problem - I have done this multiple times - show check in agent all your bookings at initial checkin and luggage will be checked thru to final destination.

Tomorrow I am flying SQ MEL-SIN-CDG then KL CDG-AMS and SQ MEL Station have assured me luggage can be checked right through to AMS

I’m about to make a 2 separate SQ booking with points and in mixed cabin class.

Did the check in agent checked your luggage to the final destination?

Absolutely 100% - not a problem - and SQ checkin were able to print all 3 BPs as well - and yes luggage arrived safely.

And totall OT re SQ but on return I also did LH FRA-BUD / EK BUD-DXB-MEL - no arrangement bw LH and EK to print BPs so I had to re-check in BUD but luggage all checked through

Recently had Syd-Sin and Sin-Cpf-Kef on separate Sq redemption awards...gave both e tickets at checkin and all 3 BPs given and bag checked all the way to Kef....maybe took 5 mins longer than normal to checkin. :)
