Hi all

My brother has 800 QFF points which are due to expire and he has no use for.

He also has no planned QF points earning travel and lives overseas so is not really interested in accumulating QFF points.

He would like to transfer them to me but cant as its below the 5,000 points minimum.

Could i transfer him 4,200 points and then he transfer the 5,000 points back?

Thanks

Should we wait between transfers or do it as soon as they appear?

I wonder if this would raise any flags in QF IT but it may be the work experience kid anyway

Thoughts?

I assume it's a reasonable thing to do (ie, transfer as you've suggested), in which case there's no real reason to wait - others may have different views?

As you've noted the minimum transfer is 5,000 points so you'll have to transfer that amount and then transfer 5,800 points to your account. Do it as soon they post.

Especially important if they are due to expire soon because the points you transfer to him will expire when his points are due to expire.
