Transferring BA Miles to another Loyalty program

Hi All,

I have been a member of British Airways Executive club for several years and have accumlated close to 100k BA miles. I moved to Australia a few years ago and do not plan on going back to the UK for a while. I am wondering whether I have any options to transfer these miles to another loyalty scheme within the OneWorld group? I am now earning miles with Qantas (because there rewards are higher for the flights I am making) but cannot find a way to transfer the miles over... Any ideas?

If this is not an option, is there another way to spend BA Miles apart from on flights? I could not find the online BA store. Did they can this?
I am asking this because I am conscious that I will lose these miles if I have not collected any for 3 years on this program.

No, BA does not allow you to transfer BA Miles to any other program. However, you can redeem BA mils for award flights on OneWorld carriers including Qantas. So plenty of opportunity to use BA miles while living in Australia.
