Hi All,

I have two lounge passes that came with my AMEX card, as I'm gold they aren't really any use to me. Is it possible to transfer these to someone else, family members or friends?

Thanks,

Matt.

Hi All,

Do they have your name on them? I know the Qantas passes can just be handed to anyone who has a boarding pass to use. In fact I believe some people sell them.

They're not actually physical passes, they're just listed under my Velocity account. I might shoot a quick email through to Velocity to query it.

Cheers,

Matt.

I don't believe there is a machanism for transferirng them at this point in time.

I believe that Virgin Frequent Flyer has stated in the past that they are not transferrable. Maybe send him a PM to confirm.

As others have stated, they are not transferable. I received this reply from Velocity this morning:

Thank you for your recent correspondence.

As a part of your American express Velocity card you have two Single entry passes for the Lounge valid until 07 September 2012, unfortunately under the Lounge Terms and Conditions, name changes are not permitted on these passes. You may offer the Lounge passes to your guests, as long as they are accessing the Lounge with you.

So it may be useful to guest extras in if I'm traveling with more than one person - at least until I hit platinum :p

Matt.
