Transfer time from Newark / LaGuardia to JFK

Hi all,

Just need a little help with some realistic transfer times from either Newark or LaGuardia to JFK. We will flying into New York from upstate New York and have a booked connection with united leaving from JFK. The only flight that arrives into JFK is not a reasonable time so we'll have land at either of the other two airports.

The departure time of our JFK flight is 15:00 so i guess I'll need some help structuring an appropriate arrival time.

Earlier this year for transfer from JFK to Journal Sq we used google maps. It supplied options of public transport. I also posted on trip advisor forum & asked locals for their everyday experiences.
