Given we're not going to be travelling overseas anytime soon assuming we get borders open there may never be a better time to see Australia.

One of the best ways is by train! I've written a couple of articles that I thought could be of interest and spark some inspiration!

Happy to answer any questions and hope I can inspire some local train travel!

Well, I'm booked on the IP SYD-PER 28-31 October as the final leg home after flights that were to take me from PER to Europe and Africa and back to SYD.

Somehow, I don't think it's going to happen...

Well were we to get 8 (?) people in a party, you could potentially hire the empty leg of a fancy carriage at a substantial discount ...

Empty leg
Backloaded
Some other term I can’t remember, F luxury for a fraction of the price, and with this year looking more like a Vickers Vimy memorial year, a potential worthwhile & possible adventure

RJ Williams are doing a big Ghan promotion at the moment - but potential pool of passengers is quite small with all the border closures.

Seems purely a clothing promotion

Some neat internal cabin snaps

From a friend of a friend, no vacancies between Sept & Dec.....pricing was $1800 for gold ....

Trying to find retail clothing made outside China is not easy.

This statement is so untrue! :p 🤣 I call fake news. It's becoming more and more difficult to find clothing made in China!

I just looked at some relatively recent purchases .... Bangladesh, India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia ... oh and some shoes from China. And a couple pair of underwear that say "Made in Australia"

But I do get what you're meaning.
