My sister is flying on QF2 / LHR-DXB-SYD at the moment and I'm interested in tracking the flight. I can't seem to track it on flightaware or flightrader - the former thinks it's just a DXB-SYD flight, and the latter doesn't give me the live view.

What's the best way to track this flight?

My partner recently tracked my flights and had a few heart attacks when the plane disappeared from the map over areas where there's no coverage... so make sure you don't forget it's not truly live ;)

I usually use flightradar24.

You can also just type "QF2" into a google search and track both segments that way.

And if you use Google Now on an android smartphone, it'll show up as a card on the Now screen.

I think we discovered the other day that flightradar has some of those flights listed as QantasLink rather than Qantas, so they dont show properly.
