Yes, we've been in just over a week now

We still have a lot of work to do (and boxes to unpack) but we're getting there bit by bit. Our washing machine has decided that it no longer likes cold water so we have a bit of work to do there. Need to get our entertainment unit unboxed and tv set up, and our NBN still doesnt work (surprise!).

All in all sounds like good progress. And as for NBN, well, it’s NBN. No surprise for me there. Take it easy as it’s going to be hot for a couple of days and then some - RAIN.

NBN now up and running thank goodness. Worked from home today so I could be here for the tech. Now I can continue monitoring emails while I upack a few more boxes.

I’ve given up on NBN. Optus 5G mobile is working brilliantly.

Letterbox arrived as well. Picked our a nice parcel box with a timber-look panel on the front that will go nicely with the house.

Huge storm just rolled through, poor plants copped quite a battering.

Great to catch up finally - been a little busy lately.

Congratulations to @blackcat20 and @TomVexille on their impending parenthood. It’s a great institution

Time for a MEL run. Will be down a couple of times in Jan, so will see if I can swing an overnight.

Geez it was a bit wet overnight. The rain sounded amazing on the 'tin' roof.

And we can now see which parts of the yard need more soil

Helpful well timed rain, really. You wouldn't want to put the lawn down and then find the soil had settled like that.
