So says the headline announcement on the Turkish site. Wow, they have added 2,400sqm and another floor to this already amazing lounge. Looks like they have put in a slot car track as well...at least that's what the photo looks like.

Waiting for report updates.

Interested to see a report on how it handles peak times with the increased size - hope they added more toilets.

Might have to see if I can swing by IST soon and use my status matched TK Gold Card ;) :D

BTW best J lounge anywhere in the world I'd say ;)

You're kidding of course. Just about any EK business class lounge murders the TK IST lounge. Also, the ANA Intl lounge at NRT is a lot nicer, to name just a couple.

I've been to both many times (was in the TK IST lounge earlier this month) and there really is no comparison. The TK lounge is (barely) organised chaos but it does have a lot of character. Not the place to have a nice restful experience though.

Just checking: Is the lounge airside? I'm transiting through IST on the way to VIE. Just making sure I don't need a visa on an Aussie passport

Lounge is most certainly airside. No visa required as long as you are just transiting and stay airside.
