Just had my car windows tinted since there was a $100 special. They have a $1 for 1 QFF point offer so figured double points when paying with a CC.

Come to payment I hand them my FF card and the response is
"Oh sorry we haven't had the machine to do this so we can't do it"
Handed over my Myerone card since they are an affiliate
"Yeah we can't do that either, so many people ask"

Looking at the tint-a-car website, all I can come across is the standard number 13-TINT which just diverts you to your local store, anyone else had any troubles in getting points from them?

I've had problems in the past with Beaurepairs. The solution was to send a letter to head office with a photo copy of my receipts and of my QF card and they made it all happen without any further drama.

Maybe give that a go?

shippo,

Thanks for that input and welcome to AFF.

There have been a few restaurant as well who are advertised as QFF Partners, but after a bug burp , when you are ready to swipe they say, they don't do it. One such restaurant is Gurkhas Richmond ( Melbourne , VIC)

After speaking to the owner , he says that he did not sign up for this year. Error on Qantas's part as they did not remove Gurkhas from their website as partner.
