Time to allow from Sydney International to Domestic

If you go QF and have left a decent connection (more than mct) even on different tickets QF are pretty reasonable about rebooking your onward flight. I wouldn't rely on the same from jet star (especially to mcy due to the low number of flights). So I'd happily book QF with not less than 2hr connection and would not be too stressed.

Its probably worth pointing out that you collect your baggage, head through customs, turn right and go to the transfer desk where they take your luggage so you don't need to take it with you on the bus. The queue to drop luggage can be slow and then depending on the it,e of day you also end up waiting for the bus. You have to go through security screening prior to getting on the bus too.

I always check the website on these questions because I know availability depends on direction of transfer but I always forget which is which. this also means I forget the previous wording. :oops:
