True - that's the impression I got...T4 at MEL is definetely not somewhere I ever want to find myself again!

And one of the pax had exactly that problem, couldn't find which terminal to use.

If he arrived on SkyBus all he had to do was listen to the announcement and look out of the window. Very easy.

I can't believe people who fly do not have $100 on them - some even less than $20. Vagrants the lot of them. BTW: pictures of long lines and delays not shown, and there was effort not to show 'holding bay' of T4.
OK. Pick me as I'm often a vagrant by your definition :!:  :(

:D
Tiger Airways’ ’warts and all’ new series, ‘Air Ways’ premieres on Sydney’s Channel 7 on Tuesday, 14th July at 7:30pm. Using the same format as the UK’s ‘Airline’, a reality-tv series depicting the trials-and-tribulations of the discount carrier, EasyJet, ‘Air Ways’ depicts both the grit and glamour of its day-to-day operations. For example, the first episode is said to feature:

…a couple incensed at being hit with unexpected excess baggage fees for a pram. Then there’s a group of angry travellers whose leaders lose their cool after a 10-hour delay and lead a mini-revolution at the airport...

What I have been personally enjoying is the level of honesty discount carriers have taken upon themselves as of late – it’s quite refreshing to have any company admit that beneath their squeaky-clean corporate image, day-to-day bads do happen. AirAsia has hysterical passengers, Jetstar has problems flying into Queenstown and now Tiger Airways’ has folks that can’t check-in on time. The negative consequence is that consumers will once more be given ammunition to pummel discount carriers with, reinforcing the notion that cheap fares equate to poor-quality service. Honesty may be the best policy, as long as it doesn’t discount all the positive work that the low-cost carriers (and their marketing teams) have done.

Cheers!

This series has aired before I suspect and drives Tiger so far down it's a wonder anyone flies with them! It's probably a series that's been generated by Qantas!

Was this on last Thursday? I noticed it isn't on Plus 7 and isn't on this week either.

I don't think so...if it was then I missed it.

Hmmm.... I travel SYD-BNE usually with only a $5 note in my wallet. And I have done extremely well when I return BNE-SYD with the same $5 note in my wallet. :-|

Most times all I purchase in BNE is go-card top-ups and since I discovered 7-Eleven accepts Amex then there is no reason to use cash.

It will return later in the year in a peak slot. It only gained 700k viewers, where in the previous seasons it was approaching over 1.5million and becoming the top show for the night.

Dancing with the stars is on at the moment so after that finished it will return to Sunday night, probably in around 2/3months.
