Thanks for posting this...

I just love this part;

(Sydney) airport's general manager of corporate affairs, Rod Gilmour, recently wrote to all federal and state MPs with electorates on the Airport & East Hills, Eastern Suburbs or Illawarra lines urging them to campaign for the government to subsidise the $11.80 one-way fee to airport stations.

''There is no public policy reason why the 16,000 workers at Sydney Airport should be the only commuters in NSW who have to pay a surcharge to use public transport to get to work,'' Mr Gilmour wrote.

Your employer, Mr Gilmour, are the kings of surcharges.

Idiot.

Hmm. So I can get to green square for $3.20 from Central. Can anyone see an alternative to get to domestic that doesn't cost $11.80.

Mascot is also now $3.20 (since March this year). Getting from Mascot to Domestic was discussed in this thread

As mentioned go to mascot $3.20 and get the 400 bus $2. Note $11.80 is the cost of the gate pass you still need to add $3.20 for the train fare. Hence a ticket machine fare central to domestic is $15. You can pre order tickets from airport link for $13.40.

Getting from the airport, if you have a suburban train ticket covering those stations the cheapest option is an international/ domestic transfer ticket for $5.
