Hi
Work has booked my Virgin Australia ticket SYD>BNE in the first name of Rich rather than Richard (which appears on my identification).
I didn't see this as a problem as I know I am able to check in on-line to get my boarding pass - which I did. Then someone at work has picked it up off the printer and it has gone missing.
As I am unable to re-print I will therefore have to use guest services or the lounge for them to reprint my boarding pass - is the Rich / Richard thing going to cause problems?

I doubt it's a major issue - worst case scenario they'll make you pay a fee to change the name on the ticket. If that happens, i'd be charging back to the business who booked itin the first place.

If the name listed bore no resemblance to Richard, i'd be looking to fix it prior to travel, but for that (Rich), I'd just see how it went at the airport.
