Good ad, in my opinion. And we are talking about it.

So, mission accomplished.

As someone who has had cabin crew accidentally spill a drink on them due to a bit of carelessness i am not sure i like the ad so much either. But i dont think i would do anything about it other than continue not to fly with them. I think its trying to promote / portray their "fun" culture. Still im weary of the ad possibly portraying reality a little and that they might do that on board. But since i dont fly them i cant comment.

Eons ago wasnt there an Ansett ad or some other airline promoting their Aussie Cricket team partnership where they needed peanuts down the other end of the plane so they bowled them down and someone grabs a magazine and hits them over to the other attendant. Would you similarly be upset at that add?

Its a good ad which gives feeling of the glory days of 60's air travel.

I like it.

I'm immortalised in a few of those cases - well my words on behalf of an advertiser are! Some of the complaints are so ludicrous but you have to respond and it actually takes a fair amount of work to put together a decent response.

But I've been on the winning side each time.

Can you work for the car companies to defeat Harold Scruby?

Every time a car maker comes up with any semi-interesting ad the "pedestrian council" (ie. Harold) objects......

Balloons, even cgi balloons in ads will set off a hundred emails and facebook rants.

Now I agree with not releasing real balloons but these are cartoon drawn balloons in a recent ad and we were getting registered mail about it.
