As per title This is NOT a Formal Social Event but on Wednesday evening March 25 at 19:30 I will be attending Olive Tree Restaurant at 19 Park St Sth Melb to partake in drinks and dinner.

I intend to do my best to support my favourite restaurants whilst I still can.

There will be plenty spare seats in the restaurant so I am sure they would be able to accommodate anybody who wanted to show up at approx the same time.

My booking will be made under usual name ‘Tiger Airlines Fanbois’ - so if anybody else would like to book an adjacent table (remember new 4sq mtr rule) just call OT and advise.

New attendance advice applies::
1. BYO megaphone to communicate between tables
2. BYO sling shot in case desire to sample each other’s meals
3. BYO funnel and tube to enable sharing of wines

OK it would appear we may now have some minor logistical complications confronting us for Wed night - initial response would be requirement for more powerful shanghai (slingshot) and longer tubes for sharing wine - think suburb to suburb here - let me get back to you with updated details as plans unfold ;)

Takeaway only for restaurants and cafes unfortunately :(

You can still support them by having your favourite wagyu eye filet with a bottle of top red in your lounge room :)

We could get take away and eat it at someone's apartment nearby?

:p

The Olive Tree just sent out an email advising that the full menu is available for take away, although I suspect a number of dishes won't travel well (e.g. steak).

There's a large park nearby with a whopping great monument.

You could practice self isolation by setting up separate picnic tables and munch away at yon Angus ...
