I regularly drive past NSW plate ERJ-190, which makes me smile.

But then I remembered I’d snapped this one:


NSW plate but was coming out of BNE airport precinct.

Then there’s the airport codes which are everywhere: I drive past DPS-nnn every morning on my way to work.

It was commonly used in later years with a slide on camper.
