The worst airport lounge you have ever visited?

The QF lounge at BNE International. It was OK when it was built about 20 years ago but is well past it's use by date.

Since it was built flights have probably doubled and the same for QP members. It is always crowded, difficult to find 2 seats together and the food is very ordinary.

To be avoided

The Private Room at SQ SIN. Only 12 empty armchairs in which to luxuriate. To make matters worse, when we rolled out of the a la carte restaurant, two of those chairs were occupied! Never going back!

Agreed Major..
I have been frequenting this lounge since the airport opened in 1995. It was once a relatively quite place to rest & enjoy before a flight.
The food & drink offerings in the past were once quite nice.
Of late it has become more of a zoo like atmosphere, overcrowded & limited food offerings. At times in the morning 'rush hour" I've had difficulty finding a single seat & even some of the staff look miserable.
The only consolation is the open air & light filled space with a pleasant enough view.

Sadly my lounge experience is limited, but the lounge used by MU at HRB currently has a rather tight grip on the wooden spoon. I know lounges in China in general aren't anything to get excited about, but this was particularly dull and disappointing. Had some chairs and free beer, but that's about it. Better than outside but not by much.

I've been to an F lounge at HRB and agree it wasn't at all memorable for its furnishings but it did have one thing that I do really like. Milo. In small cartons and it was very nice thank you.

The plaza premium lounge at the KUL LCCT, I know it's in a LCC terminal bit it's worse than worse.

The food is always old ( and I suspect it may have made me ill) the characters filling it are not too kind and the seats are awful!

I didn't learn the first time and went back again at the start of the year, shame on me!

I also agree
The Premier Lounge in Dps is also worth a mention similar to Plaza Premium Theirs selection of wines would run my car!

It was the one that came to mind for me too when this came up. Hopefully the one at the new terminal is better.

Karachi in the early 90's.
Shared lounge for Thai and others, horrible.

But the ride to the airport with camel races along the highway at 2a, now that was fun!

CX at BKK... CX at TPE ... very sparse offering ...

To be honest I don't think I have been to an Airline 'premium' lounge that's worse than the corresponding gate lounge.

Defunct CMB lounge in 2005 had no room between the low couches to walk - had to step over/though them.

There was a post I read on AFF recently about a TG lounge in CNX.

Unsupervised kids from outside coming in to the lounge to use the internet & staff too preoccupied with playing Candy Crush on their phones to care.

Interesting you should mention that serfty. I was there a few weeks ago & considered it quite reasonable. It does have a made to order fresh noodle bar & a number of other mediocre food & drink varieties.
The only detracting attribute IMO is the internal view.

I guess the times I was there is was chockers - out the back in the 'First'/'Emerald' area it was less crowded but of course, the noodles were back in the Business area.

Agree that apart from the view the CX TPE lounge is quite acceptable for a non-home airport with 6-8 medium-wide bodies.
Certainly not near my worst list.
